Subang Sikhs Association Selangor (SSAS), the organisation powering the building of the new gurdwara for Sikhs in Subang Jaya, is celebrating its 15th anniversary with a fancy fund raising dinner.
Dubbed Masquerade Punjabi Style, the dinner promises a fun-filled evening on 15 Oct (Saturday) at The Summit Hotel USJ, Selangor.
“Get your tables early to avoid disappointments. Another very happening dinner brought to you by SSAS,” says a note at its Facebook page.
All proceeds go towards the Gurdwara Sahib Subang Jaya Fund.

The SSAS team is going all-out to raise funds for the four storey building estimated to cost RM4.8 million. As at August, the shortfall stood at RM3 million.
The gurdwara, built with the handicapped in mind, will include two heavy duty lifts as the darbar sahib will be on the top most floor.
“With Waheguru Ji’s kripa, the 3rd floor slab & beams have been laid. You will also notice the form work for the columns for the roof being prepared,” according to a note dated 13 Sept at its Facebook page, which updates regularly members and donors of the construction progress.
