Seremban Sikhs are going for a larger venue to accommodate the response to an up-coming Sikh seminar planned for next Saturday (26 Nov 2016).
“Due to overwhelming support, we will be changing the venue,” reads one of the messages shared on the social media.
The “Leadership of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji: Seremban Seminar’ will now take place at the Matrix International School Auditorium at Bandar Sendayan, Seremban. The venue is about eight minutes drive from the Seremban toll towards the Seremban 2 area.
The Seremban-leg of the seminar is a sideline event following the 3rd Conference on the Leadership of Guru Granth Sahib Ji on 23 Oct 2016 in Petaling Jaya. It was followed by the ‘Leadership of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Conference: Ipoh Seminar’ on 5 Nov.
“In this crucial moment to overcome challenges being faced by the Sikh Panth, we have to create awareness and reach out to as many people as we can,” the same message said.
The programme is organised by the Coalition of Malaysian Sikh Organisations (CMSO) with the active participation of SNSM, KDM, MGC, SWAN, SSSJMMSM, GNGGSF, SWSM, InSPiRE, GKDM, PPM, SSA, GSPJ, WGS Ipoh. Its media partners are Asia Samachar, Sikhi Lehar Malaysia and Sikhi Vichaar Forum.
